The Moto G Max features a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. One of its standout features is its impressive peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, making outdoor visibility significantly easier. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and supports adaptive refresh rate technology for improved power efficiency.

Under the hood, Motorola has equipped the handset with the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Users can also take advantage of virtual RAM expansion, increasing available memory by up to 16GB when needed. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, face unlock, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-SIM support with eSIM compatibility, and Android 16 software.

Photography is another key highlight of the Moto G Max. The smartphone is led by a 200MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharper photos and steadier videos. Accompanying the main sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide camera offering a 120-degree field of view. On the front, Motorola includes a 32MP selfie camera capable of recording video at up to 2K resolution at 30fps.

Keeping the device powered is a 5,200mAh battery with support for 33W TurboPower fast charging. Motorola claims the battery can provide up to 35 hours of usage on a single charge. Durability is another area where the Moto G Max stands out, boasting IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications alongside MIL-STD-810H military-grade testing. This ensures resistance against dust, water immersion, high-pressure water jets, and harsh environmental conditions.

The Moto G Max is currently available through Motorola’s Brazilian online store with a starting price of BRL 2,519.10 (approximately $490). Buyers can choose between Azul Carlo (Blue) and Graphite color options. The handset is also available in additional markets under the Moto G87 branding.
