Casio has officially expanded its mechanical watch range with the launch of the new Edifice EFK-200 series, introducing a lineup of automatic timepieces that blend premium materials with motorsport-inspired styling.
The new collection consists of five models, including a standout carbon-fiber edition, offering buyers a more refined take on the company’s growing mechanical watch portfolio. The EFK-200 series follows the success of the earlier EFK-100 and EFK-110 models, while bringing several notable upgrades.
One of the biggest highlights is the flagship EFK-200XPB-1A, which features a forged carbon-fiber case paired with rose-gold accents and a matching black strap. Across the lineup, Casio has confirmed the use of sapphire crystal glass, enhancing scratch resistance and giving the watches a more premium feel.
Powering the new series is the Miyota 8215 automatic movement, offering approximately 42 hours of power reserve, 21 jewels, and hacking seconds functionality for precise time-setting. Owners can also view the movement through a transparent exhibition caseback.
The EFK-200 introduces updated styling with a slimmer profile, integrated bracelet design, and fresh dial treatments. Instead of the textured stone-like dials seen on previous models, the new watches feature gradient finishes with fine speckled detailing that create a more sophisticated appearance.
Casio is launching the series in five color options:
- EFK-200CD-1A (Black)
- EFK-200D-2A (Blue)
- EFK-200D-4A (Red)
- EFK-200DG-5A (Gold)
- EFK-200XPB-1A (Carbon Black)
The gold-tone model also receives a full ion-plated finish across the case, bezel, and bracelet for a distinctive luxury-inspired look.
Pricing is expected to fall between $300 and $320, making the EFK-200 series competitively positioned within the affordable mechanical watch market. The collection is expected to reach stores during July 2026, though regional availability may vary.
