Acer Unveils Iconia Duo S14, S12, and D12 Tablets with OLED Displays, Android 16, and Productivity-Focused 3:2 Screens

Acer has expanded its Android tablet lineup with the introduction of three new Iconia Duo models designed to boost creativity, productivity, and entertainment. The new Acer Iconia Duo S14, Iconia Duo S12, and Iconia Duo D12 feature large displays, optional stylus support, keyboard accessories, and a new 3:2 aspect ratio aimed at delivering a better balance between work and media consumption.

Leading the lineup is the Acer Iconia Duo S14, a premium Android 16 tablet featuring a 14.2-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor, the tablet is targeted at creators and professionals who need a large canvas for multitasking, digital art, and productivity workflows. Acer also equips the S14 with DisplayPort input and output support, dual USB-C ports, quad speakers, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, and a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

The Acer Iconia Duo S12 brings many of the same premium features to a more compact 12.2-inch form factor. It retains the 2.8K OLED display but swaps in a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. Acer says the tablet is aimed at digital illustrators, engineers, and mobile professionals, with nano-texture glass helping reduce glare and fingerprints during extended use.

Rounding out the range is the more affordable Acer Iconia Duo D12. While it replaces OLED with a 12.2-inch LCD panel featuring a 2400 x 1600 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, it still offers the same productivity-friendly 3:2 aspect ratio. The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and supports accessories such as an active stylus, keyboard, and kickstand.

All three tablets are claimed to provide up to 10 hours of battery life and include microSD expansion support of up to 1TB, making them suitable for storing large creative projects and media libraries. Acer positions the new Iconia Duo family as versatile devices that can transition seamlessly between entertainment, content creation, and productivity tasks.

The Iconia Duo S12 and Duo D12 are expected to launch in August 2026, while the flagship Iconia Duo S14 will arrive in September 2026. Acer has yet to announce official pricing.
